What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle Japanese healing technique which reduces stress and promotes relaxation. 'Rei' means God's wisdom or higher power and 'Ki' means life force energy.
It's a natural, vibrational, hands-on healing practice that supports the body’s self healing ability. Reiki was developed by Master Mikao Usui (1865-1926). It's non-invasive and harnesses universal energy. It is widely used in hospitals and hospices, before and after surgery to assist with healing, and to reduce pain while we are on our path to recovery. |
